Parent Teacher Group
When you join TGPS, you are a member of our Parent Teacher Group (PTG). Volunteers can sign-up for a variety of opportunities, such as chairing events, dedicating time as a room parent, and hosting booths on special event days. Informative meetings take place every 6-8 weeks (via Zoom), so all parents can connect and be involved.
The Parent Teacher Group Board oversees the planning, organization, and execution of all events that make TGPS so special. This dedicated group of parents connects & collaborates with the administration, parents, and vendors to develop meaningful opportunities for families to join the school and celebrate holidays that make childhood magical.
Opportunities to gather as a community take place frequently at TGPS. With no obligation, you are welcome to participate and share in the joy of of these moments with your child. Traditions, friendships, and the spirit of togetherness abound in the annual events:

Room Parents build bridges between classrooms and families. These volunteers act as liaisons for communication, support the teachers, and keep the spirit of community vibrant throughout the year.
